About Us
Since 1960, Stephens-Franklin Teachers Federal Credit Union has been serving the financial needs of our members. And still today our mission remains the same – to provide convenient savings, low cost loans, and deliver quality service with a personal touch.
When you join the credit union, you become a member, which means that you are an owner of this unique financial institution. Like other credit unions, Stephens-Franklin Teachers Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization. Our primary goal is to serve our members, not to make profits for ourselves. Earnings are returned to members through higher dividend rates on savings products, lower interest rates on loans and a long list of convenient services.
Your share deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency. A new law provides up to $250,000 separate coverage on retirement accounts. The higher coverage took effect 10-03-08.
